2nd Behavioural and Experimental Economics GATE-Lab – NTU Workshop (BEELS 2025)

The Behavioural and Experimental Economics GATE-Lab – NTU Workshop (BEELS) returns for its second edition, further deepening the collaboration between Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and GATE-Lab (CNRS), France.

This international workshop, which took place in Lyon from 15 to 16 May 2025, convened leading scholars from Europe and Asia to present cutting-edge research in behavioural and experimental economics.

Co-organised by Professor Yohanes Eko Riyanto (NTU) and Professor Marie Claire Villeval (CNRS, GATE-Lab), BEELS 2025 offers a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, the discussion of new findings, and the exploration of innovative approaches to understanding economic behaviour.

The workshop was hosted at GATE-Lab, an experimental economics laboratory established in 2015 to support GATE researchers in conducting rigorous experiments on decision-making. These facilities enable the development of advanced research programs in behavioural economics and contribute to the lab's strong international reputation in the field.

The PHC Merlion programme, a joint initiative by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Campus France, and NTU Singapore, supports this event.
