Books or AI: Who Really Still Opens the Windows on the World?

In the fast-paced and innovative digital era, the classic question echoes again: are books still the window to the world? Amidst the dominance of technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and the explosion of instant information, the fate of printed books seems to be at stake. According to Assoc Prof Sulfikar Amir from NTU, “Books are irreplaceable in terms of depth of thought. Digital media presents more surface information. While books allow us to understand the context and logic in depth.”
