The Workplace Safety and Health Council has launched the National WSH Campaign 2025 over social media on 28 April 2025. Continuing the theme “Reporting Saves Lives”, the Campaign places emphasis on the 3As which employers, supervisors, workers and members of the public can take actions upon to keep workplaces safe:
- Be Aware of potential risks;
- Assess whether to pause work, should an unsafe work activity be observed; and
- Act by reporting and rectifying the unsafe situation.
Mr Abu Bakar Mohd Nor, Chairman of the WSH Council said in a media release that “A strong safety culture requires everyone – employers, supervisors, and workers – to be constantly alert, responsible, and proactive. Reporting saves lives, and we must continue to empower and encourage everyone on the ground to speak up.” He also urged us to remember the 3As of good safety practices and work together to build safer and healthier workplaces across all sectors.
Campaign Resources and Microsite
Watch the Campaign video titled “Brother”, the first of three videos, which reminds us that workers are more than the roles they undertake at work - they are also someone’s spouse, parent or sibling. When a mishap strikes, it’s not only the worker’s life at risk; it also impacts the lives of their loved ones. Here are the links to our video posts which we seek members’ help to share on your social media channels:
